When Hanan turned three
Her name is Hanan — like my daughter's, and a name of mercy mentioned in the Qur'an. When she turned three, I began taking her with me to the mosque… and from there, this story began.

The beginning
Small steps toward the mosque
She'd stand beside me in prayer, imitating me — bowing when I bowed, prostrating when I prostrated, repeating what she heard. A moment that fills the heart. But I wanted more than imitation for her: to understand, to love, to memorize — in a way that suits a three-year-old, not a book or a lecture.

I searched everywhere for the right tool — and found none. Either cheap and short-lived, or expensive imports with no soul, or content no one had reviewed.
I wanted something that brought all three together: quality worthy of my child, trustworthy reviewed content, and a language they understand — Arabic, the language of the Qur'an, and Turkish, the language of our home here in Istanbul.
The decision
From an idea… to a prayer mat
I couldn't find it, so I decided to build it — from scratch. I chose the fabrics myself, designed every button and every sound, had the content reviewed by scholars, and considered every detail that matters to a mother like Hanan's: soft on her knees, safe in her hands, clear in her ears.

Fabrics that last
Soft velvety pile on a non-slip base, free of harmful materials, with stitching built to survive years of play.
Reviewed content
Reviewed by scholars — movements and supplications in sound language that parents can trust.
Two languages, for a child here
Arabic, the language of the Qur'an, and Turkish, the language of Muslim children in Turkey — a voice they understand and love.
And a trust in every mat
From day one, we set it in our intention: to dedicate a share of every sale to our brothers and sisters in Palestine — and Gaza in particular. Because a story that began with a prayer deserves a trust that goes beyond the mat.
From our home to yours
Hanan prays with confidence today. What we made for her, we made for every child taking their first steps toward their Lord. This is our story — and we hope it becomes part of yours.
